Over the previous weeks (02/24-03/02), the Pocket Network protocol successfully relayed over 1.6 Billion application requests (down by 15.4%) & settled at 32.8k staked nodes (up by 3%)!
Revamping WRR
Pocket Network’s WRR will now just be focused on bringing weekly updates on the network statistics. Governance & Community updates will be made part of other updates that are being planned.
Weekly Relay Recap & Analysis 👋
Relays dipped this week due to a temporary dip in Harmony RPC traffic which went down by 20%.
The node infrastructure continued to grow with another 2,165 nodes getting added in this week.
OEC blockchain gets whitelisted for generating revenue in $POKT.
The average daily relays were down by 15.4% compared to the previous week at around 231M relays.
Over 7.9B relays have been processed in total throughout the last four weeks. The exact figures are displayed in the table below.

The pie chart below shows the distribution of all POKT rewards minted over the past week between the service nodes, block producers, and the Pocket DAO.
At the time of this writing, Pocket Network now has 32,849 nodes!
